A great suddenly changed his life cycle. This battle was known as WAR OF KALINGA. Kalinga was currently known as Orissa. The loss of life, killing innocent peoples, loosing own peoples hurts Samrat Ashoka. It brought a complete change in samrat’s life. Samrat Ashoka completely changed and later he was called as Buddhist. The emperor trying to apply Buddhist principles to the administration of his vast empire. He tried to spread the words of Buddha in India an abroad.
